Police event on stalking and violence against woman and girls

Kent Police invite you to a Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) Community Event onWednesday 26 April 2023, from 6pm to 8pm.

You can attend the event either online via Microsoft Teams or in person at a venue local to you.

The event will include the following:

  • Introduction: Detective Chief Superintendent Emma Banks
  • Policing update: activity to tackle Violence Against Women and Girls, local policing review and safety on public transport networks
  • Stalking: DA & Stalking Manager, Sophie Scott
  • Discussion sessions:
    1. Confidence in policing – what would you like to know?
    2. How can police improve services to women and girls?
    3. Are there barriers in communication between the police and the public?
