Notice about low water pressure

Published: 20 July 2022

Due to temperatures soaring across our region in recent days we’re having to pump much more drinking water to customer taps than normal.

We’re aware there were some customers in Faversham and the surrounding areas who may have experienced low water pressure or no water at all yesterday.

We are very sorry for this.

It was caused by water was being drawn from the network quicker than we could treat it and refill our underground storage reservoirs and pipes.

The majority of customers should have their supplies restored, but we are aware of ongoing issues in Dunkirk.

A bottled water station has been set up in the following area to assist customers who may be experiencing supply issues:

  • Hernhill Village Hall, Forstal, Faversham, Hernhill, ME13 9JG

Our teams have been out and about proactively delivering bottled water to those customers on our Priority Services Register who are most in need.

Our free Priority Services ensures our most vulnerable customers receive as much help and support as we can provide during these incidents. Customers can register and find out more about the services we provide here.
