White Lion wins Kent Association of Local Councils Community Award 2021

Selling Parish Council nominated The White Lion for the Kent Association of Local Councils (KALC) Community Award 2021 for their leadership and wide ranging, real practical help to Selling communities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
We remain eternally grateful for the unselfish and generous manner in which the White Lion Team simply went about doing all they could think of to support the people of Selling. Their activities, energy and creativity knew no bounds. From offering IT awareness to Secret Santa to pastoral care, they were at the heart of galvanising the village and epitomised the very essence of community spirit.
