New Selling Parish Council

Published: 16 August 2019

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Wendy Gregory as the new Clerk to Selling Parish Council. Wendy brings a wealth of professional experience and skills to the role and was introduced to residents at her first Parish Council meeting on 15 August 2019.

We are also pleased to introduce Councillor David Woollett, who has been co-opted onto the Parish Council with a long and varied career with life experiences that will enhance the capability of the Council immeasurably.

Selling Parish Council now has five Councillors: Andrew Bowles (Chair), Kevin Hobson (Vice-Chair), Amanda Saunders, Sue Henderson, and David Woollett.

We are now allowed to co-opt two more Councillors to bring us up to our designated strength of seven Councillors. We are actively seeking residents who have a passion for public service and who want to apply their life skills towards the greater good and to make life in the village even better.

This is a fascinating and enormously important time to serve the communities of Selling. There is so much already being done by so many to make our village better. The village also faces many challenges. Coud this be your time? Please contact the Clerk or any of your Councillors to learn more.
